Sarajevo

July 7, 2019

Sarajevo and its surroundings – diverse atmosphere, reminding of Istanbul and Wien at the same time, and fantastic nature views from the six mountains around. Watching Danis Tanovic’s No Man’s Land movie there makes one very sad, seeing the nature of war – hell.

A weekend in Poland

July 1, 2019

A weekend in Poland and its amazing Zakopane, Kraków and Wieliczka Salt Mine. A whole spectrum of European architectural styles, sunny views from the top of the Tatras, and last but not least: warm, humble and generous people.

Salzburg & Wolfgangsee

June 2, 2019

Salzburg [Salt Castle] – a charming Alps town where primarily music geniuses seem to get born, to name a few: Amadeus Mozart, Herbert von Karajan, Franz Gruber, the man who composed and wrote the text for “Silent Night”. The spectacular scenery top down in Salzburg and down up from Wolfgang Lake is simply awesome.

Washington, D.C.

May 27, 2019

The National Mall – an amazing symbolic setting for the governmental structures, museums and national memorials. Washington, D.C., unlike other US cities, instead of being tall is wide and mainly white.
