Around Banská Bystrica

Banská Bystrica and the region around are spectacular. The city centre reminds one of the square in Brussels, however here it is somewhat smaller but more charming. Only 15 minutes away in Hronsek, one can see the unique wooden church (UNESCO site) with Scandinavian elements, built without a single nail. And Zvolen’s castle and city centre being just wonderful!

Impressive urban gardening in Petržalka (block of flats neighbourhood in Bratislava). Several families have joint forces in creating a small garden, each owning some 2 sq. m. Flowers, vegetables, fun and a bee hotel…Congrats enthusiastic people! Keep up the great spirit 🙂
