St. Archangel Michael – 2022

As St. Archangel Michael is my name patron saint, I can’t help dropping a line on that day. In most icons he is depicted with a sword in his right hand, and a scroll in his left. But in some early icons, instead of scroll, he is holding a sphere. The inscription deciphered reads as “Christ the Righteous Judge” – see John 7:24. More on the inscription here > >>
