St. Archangel Michael Monastery

The Chekotinski Monastery “St. Archangel Michael” is dated back to the Second Bulgarian Empire – 1185. It is located 70 kilometers north-east of Sofia in the valley of the Small Iskar river. The peaceful and beautiful nature around relaxes both the mind and body.
