Wien

August 11, 2018

Wien – City of Music, City of Dreams – grandeur, art and music all around. Any visit there – it is the same and yet always different. And the view at the entire city from Kahlenberg is simply awesome. It is all the small details that make a big difference.

Regal Roof Top

August 10, 2018

Regal Roof Top (Hurbanovo namestie 6, Bratislava) is one of my favourite terraces in town for the spectacular view and the relaxing atmosphere up there. Feel like Karlsson-on-the-Roof (“I’m above all that”) with these swings instead of chairs at the bar 🙂 The summer evening breeze and the surrounding sounds of Michalská brána just make this roof top like no other around.

Ice Bar

August 9, 2018

The cool place to be in the summer heat is Ice Bar Bratislava, where temperature is -7°C. The bar (40 tons of ice inside) is the very heart of the Old Town on 14, Panská Street. A drink in the ice throne makes you feel like an ice queen or king.

Open air concerts

August 6, 2018

There is something truly energizing in open-air concerts. The Botanical Garden Bratislava, piano-saxophone one on 5 August or the Goran Bregović one in ZámockĂ˝ park in SereÄŹ in June – in both, the audience was as spectacular as the concerts themselves. Music at sunset … chillax!

Bulhary

August 5, 2018

When you are a Bulgarian and driving around a foreign country you come across a road sign that says you are in Bulhary (‘Bulhar’ in Czech & Slovak means “Bulgarian”) you feel astounded and can’t help strolling around its peaceful and neat surroundings. To my Bulhary album >>>

A lot more to see in the fantastic South Moravian region of BĹ™eclav (originally BĹ™etislav), among numerous breath-taking sights, St. Mary parish church in Poštorná is a “must see”. To Album >>>
