The Wait

January 25, 2017

The Wait [orginal title: L’attesa – 2015] – as any movie in which Juliette Binoche is in the main role cannot leave you indifferent. A mysterious cinematic journey keeps you very alive all throughout, asking questions, enjoying slow beautiful shots, colors, landscapes and soundtrack. Sometimes a story is much more involving by what does not happen than what does, as is the case here where inaction has deep meaning.

The Devil’s Violinist

January 7, 2017

The Devil’s Violinist (2013) – some movies are feasts for the ears and this one with virtuoso violinist David Garrett in the role of Niccolò Paganini was awesome. Failures and triumphs, a genius, rumoured for his association with the Devil and his heavenly music. The performance of Caprice No. 24 – what a dramatic match of what you see and what you hear. A must see or rather listen to movie.

Others are just the opposite. The packaging might not look great but the content inside is filled with emotion.

Think outside the box … feel inside it.
