Troodos

Crossing Cyprus from south to north is easy, so is crossing it from east to west. The water all around the island is spectacular but so are the Troodos mountains. A weekend camping out there is cool – pun is intended.

And all these small towns an villages like Kakopetria, Prodromos [named after John the Baptist, whose title in Greek is Prodromos meaning ‘the Forerunner], Kyperounta and many others – each with its own lively atmosphere. And an Apple Festival just makes one’s day a very refreshing one – an apple a day …
