Marma, Mariam

February 5, 2014

It is this third book by Bulgarian author Teodora Dimova this month that I am reading, this time Marma, Mariam. A book about faith that is in all of us, our relationship and longing for the Divine. What makes the book an engaging read is its relation to the present through Marma – the Christian story told on and on through the ages. A literary interpretation of specific historic figures rather than a theological research.
