Peter Handke’s ‘Don Juan: His Own Version‘ is a very solitary novel – a “womantime” jourmey through Tbilisi, Damascus, Ceuta, Holland, Norway, and a “completely nameless” country. Pointless travels told to an innkeeper. Handke’s ‘Don Juan was different from the former “fake” ones of Molière and Mozart.
