The Gasp

January 4, 2014

Romain Gary’s ‘Charge d’âme‘ (The Gasp) is a novel about the endless workings of a genius mind and the lack of boundaries in front of it. The novel was a bit depressing for me – what if tomorrow people were able to catch people’s spirit to use it as an endless energy?

‘How many more times civilisation can be saved, so that it still deserves to be called civilisation?’ A book that tackles in a subtle way the topic of  love for the Creator and hatred for the creations.
