The Nimrod Flipout

June 12, 2013

My first encounter with Israeli writer Etgar Keret was through his “The Nimrod Flipout” – a collection of some funny and some not so funny short stories, in which boredom is the driving engine of the world. Some compare E. Keret’s  fiction to Woody Allen’s one, however the latter being among my favourites, I’d rather have second thoughts about it, except for some absurdity situations one comes across in both.
