On trusting

A good friend of mine once told me a fantastic story on trusting, which happened to him years ago but was the best lesson on trusting he ever learnt. In a nutshell it was along the lines of Hemingway’s conclusion: “The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.”
