On buds and buddies

May 31, 2011

This rose was a gift by a special buddy last year. I just saw its bud and was amazed how quickly the rose bud became a buddy with the other garden family members around. To buds & buddies 🙂

Maths – 1+2+3 …

May 30, 2011

Maths has never been my cup of tea (unlike English Breakfast Tea, for example) but if I win this book – the post is in Bulgarian by one of my favourite bloggers – Mike Ramm – I will feel rewarded for my days of calculating and re-calculating.

Mike speaks and writes in perfect Bulgarian for an Irish 🙂 and on the occasion of the 5,000 comment posted on his blog he had promised the said book, which I hope to win and revert to. If I don’t win, I will not blame it on my luck this time, but on my math skills. Image: pppst.com

The Garden Poppy

May 28, 2011

This garden poppy recently popped up 🙂 and it does not stop beaming and gleaming ever since.

As if saying: I enjoy every ray of sun and smile back. And it does.

Smile and enjoy a smile back!

Bewitched

May 25, 2011

Nicole Kidman, Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine bewitchingly enchanting in ‘Bewitched‘ (2005). Once a witch, always a witch. Moving faster and better with a broomstick than with a car. Doing and undoing magic. A movie in which a witch has a choice – quit… give up… or get mad. And once a witch gets mad, it all gets bewitchingly charming.

Strangers on a Train

May 25, 2011

When the destinies of ‘Strangers on a Train‘ (1951) cross paths and the idea of swapping murders pops up, it gets unexpected and unpredictable just like in a Alfred Hitchcock’s movie. Crime drama with funny elements. And the idea that anyone could be a murderer. Strange and brilliant dialogues. Superb acting.

Гугъл – 24 май 2011

May 24, 2011

On the occasion of the Day of Culture and Alphabet in Bulgaria, it felt great to see Google‘s logo today in the Cyrillic alphabet.
