Wording a question

Recently a friend asked a question worded in a sort of confusing way: ‘What would you want if you knew you didn’t have to be unhappy about not getting it?’ along the lines of Michael Neill.

Sometimes we tend to get so much attached to the outcome and if we don’t get it we become miserable. Focusing on not caring about the outcome, the question is ‘do we really want that thing’ … whatever it is. Wording the question.
