I’ve always imagined Holly Golightly somehow differently, but Audrey Hepburn changed my perception of Breakfast at Tiffany’s altogether.  No matter where one runs, one just ends up running into oneself. To one’s own cage. ‘Life’s a fact’. So are breakfasts. So is Tiffany.

Bedazzled

Bedazzling deals between Elliot Richards (Brendan Fraser) and The Devil (Elizabeth Hurley) in  Bedazzled (2000). Life like a living hell. A contract for having 7 wishes granted in exchange for Elliot’s soul. A dazzling discovery at the end of the movie on how a contract  with the Devil can be nullified. All in a single act of sacrifice.

Funny Lady

What made the ‘Funny Lady‘ movie an exciting experience was Barbra Streisand’s great acting and singing all throughout. While watching it, “How Lucky Can You Get?” made me realise that sometimes it works along the lines “More Than You Know” – sung uniquely.

The Bulgarian online magazine Az-jenata.bg turned 8 years old today.  For a moment the French movie ‘8 Women’ came to mind and the expression: ‘cherchez la femme’.
