Churchill’s statue

December 10, 2009

Churchill’s statue in Parliament Square in London. “History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.”  A man who wrote history and not only, and was awarded Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953.

“All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.”

One of my favourites of his: “If you are going through hell, keep going.”

Seems like the only reasonable thing to do under such circumstances. Thanks.
