Eye on London

December 9, 2009

A 360-degree eye view of London with a flight on the London Eye is indeed a spectacular experience.

People say that not everything that glitters is gold, but this one is – the 150-year old Big Ben glittering in the scarce sun above London.

The Jubilee Bridge from up the London Eye distantly reminding of Harry Potter.

London is a unique town. I could think of it, as the home of knights, queens and ghosts. A fairy-tale that one can imagine in any colour one chooses… with mostly grey as a background.

Indeed a fairy tale. As to the background, all my photos from there are fairly grey.

“The London Eye welcomes an average of 3.5 million customers every year. You would need 6,680 fully booked British Airways Boeing 747-400 jumbo jets to move that number of fliers!” Amazing, isn’t it.

Amazing indeed. For me it was a spectacular experience.
