How Much Do You Love Me?

November 22, 2009

How Much Do You Love Me? [original title: Combien tu m’aimes?]
A short exchange of words on the topic of freedom between Charly [Gérard Depardieu] and Daniela [Monica Bellucci] reminded me of the saying ‘If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was.”
Love – as a vast theme – love for life, love for love’s sake, love for money … a bit of everything … a very French movie.

One Response to “How Much Do You Love Me?”

  1. Elena Ganeva Says:

Easier said, than done… the “let-go” thing. Sometimes when we get attached to somebody or something, we want somehow to be sure, than this somebody would not run away… falling in love, is a mixure of joy and pain… as it leaves people exposed. Nobody knows what the future brings. Living solely in the present, without fearing the future or caring the burden of the past…how? I guess wisdom comes with age.
