3 March – Bulgaria

March 3, 2009

danube1 The Danubian town of Vidin is  some 200 kilometers away from Sofia. Across from it is Romania. vidin The Church of St. Dimitar in the centre has to be seen both during the day and at night. And the Belogradchik Rocks – the Bulgaria nominee for the New7Wonders of nature is quite near by.  It was misty & foggy, but awesome. 3 March is a National holiday in Bulgaria.

Despite what you shared at the Onda, the mist actually adds up to the mysterious atmosphere!

Yes, you are right. It does indeed! The place is worth visiting anyway in sunshine or in fog.
