Scotch cheers from/to the Square Mile

December 2, 2008

london_1 As I know Kalina, she’s one of those people who enjoy driving in the right-lane side on the kalina1 road and … in life. On the right track to work (Operational Risk Manager at Bank of Scotland) K. Armenliiska sends foggy greetings from London.  It’s the other lane that’s the right one out there, so best of luck with the novelties!

Loud & Close

December 2, 2008

extremely_loud ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ – one of the major themes being 9/11 attacks and a search into what happened by a 9-year old (amazing!) child who lost his father then. Many of the visualisation elements make perfect sense only after the reader gets to the final page. They call the author Jonathan Safran Foer – a product of the information age – I wonder if that ‘s due  to   the    spaces         or      the      blank                                            pages or other         idiosyncrasies        peculiarities        of the                     novel.
