‘Words for Deaf’  begins:
‘Here I am in my ivory tower, dreaming. What could have happened to Bulgaria had we hit the right digit.
And instead of the minus, had hit the plus …” (transl. mine)

As a ‘Local Normal’ (in his sense) I often do, too & quote the Bulgarian playwright and satirical prose writer Stanislav Stratiev. His poetic genius renders issues in a form and word that are a pleasure to read. From his Bookshelf just discovered that he has been translated in more than 30 languages.
